We didn't start as a software company. We started in the bid room — building estimates under deadline pressure with tools that fought us every step of the way.
The problem we lived
Construction estimating software hasn't changed in decades. The big players build one-size-fits-all platforms, charge premium prices, and leave you to figure out how to bend your workflow to fit their system.
Every contractor works differently. A marine construction company pricing bulkheads and sheet piling has nothing in common with a mechanical sub pricing HVAC installs. But they're sold the same software with the same rigid workflows.
We spent years working around these limitations — building spreadsheets on the side, maintaining workaround processes, and losing time to tools that were supposed to save it.
What we're building
Stimaro is estimating software that adapts to you. Not the other way around. We configure every instance around how your team actually prices jobs — your cost categories, your rate structures, your report formats.
When you need a feature that doesn't exist, you tell us and we build it. No suggestion box. No "we'll consider it for the roadmap." If it makes your bidding better, we ship it.
